BA~KETBALL & BASEBALL
The .a.\!ead Raiders came through l• i th one of their
better seasons of sports. In Basketball they
won the Saunders County Tournament, but they lost
the Conference crown to Weston. The Raiders went
down in defeat the second night of the District
Tournament. The records f or the season is 13 wins
and 7 losses. This ~ave 1hem a rating of ninth
in the state.
In Baseball the Raiders won 2 games out of 5.
This was the first season of Jaseball for Mead for
some time. The member of the squad &re: Renoln
