The 2016-2017 instrumental band was extremely busy this year. To kick the Caleb Jones
season off, the marching band competed at the Applejack Parade, receiving
2nd place and a plaque, and at the Harvest of Harmony Parade, receiving 5th Shailee Hayek, Captain
place. In the months to follow, the band performed at the winter concert. Whitney Koehn, Captain
spring concert. the spaghetti feed, and the graduation ceremony. In April, the Stephanie Wenzel
band performed at District Music contest where they received a superior Kabi Mumford
rating from all three judges and earned a district plaque. All in all, the band Elyse Drake
had a fantastic year and they are very excited to see what next year b rings Nicole Wenzel
to the table.
