Reaching for the ceiling! A:rt students
painted tiles for the ceiling in the
library!
This year's art club and classes were extremely successful There were many talE!nted artists! Stu ents worked hard and
improved their artistic abilities and knowltrige.
A:rt 8 students worked on evezything from gt:affiti to clay. They learned a bit abou_t art history, studied art elements and
wor with a variety of materials.
I students built their knowledge of basic art principles and e.'--panded their use of different media to a higher level They
ere challenged use many new materials and proved to be quite successful with this.
Art II, students , having had basic COUI'8ES were challenged to utilize their knowledge in a creative way to complete a
variety of projects. They worked very hard and accomp · a great deal Several Art II students were recognized in 'the
ECNC Art show in March They also began work on portfolios tha they will use in upper level cl:.lsses.
Advanced A:rt students worked independently to build eir-portfolios to a more professional level The projects
hey chose were aimed more at a ''nlas D~' level Some really great work was created in these cl:.lsses.
