GRADE SCHOOL ACTIVITES
First, Second, Third, and Fourth Grades
The first, second, third and fourth g~ades gave a combined
~rogram consisting of songs, pantomine, and the winding of
the Mar Pole.
Fifth, Sixth, Seventh and Eight Grades
The fifth, sixth, seventh, and eight grades gave a combined
music program. The first half consisted of two parte, instrumental
numbers and Indian vocal selections. The other halt consisted of
•Grandma's story of Stephen Foster.
Some of the pupils from the eighth grade entered the Cuunty
spelling contest thie year. Out of the one-hundred-ten contestants
four prizes w~re given and the students from the eighth grade room
took three of these. Arlene Kudlacek, first Grace Most r, third
Arvona Malchow, fourth.
In the fifth and the sixth grades, the children have been
•orking~on Mother's Day gifts. The girls have been sewing and
the boys nave been making things out of woud.
The fifth and sixth grades have had a health contest. Daily
Health Habits to stimulate better personal health habits.
