                                                 BASEBALL
                           Mead had a  fairly successful baseball season  this year,  winning  two
                     and losing two.  The Mead High team consisted of as follows:  Renald Bar-
                     rett,  catcher;  Richard Zook,  pitcher;  Bill  Armold,  first  base; M i 11 a r d
                     Barlow,  right  fielder;  Ian  Crinklaw,  second  base; Adrian  Sabatka,  short
                     stop; Delmar Sagert,  third base; Arnold Kudlacek,  left fielder; and Gerald
                     Langemeier,  center  fielder.   Others  who  went  out  for  baseball  were:
                     Kenneth  Waterman,  Gary  Widman,  Richard  Pearson,  Fred  Anderson,
                     Harvey Kriz,  Freddie Bergman,  and Gilbert Drews.  Our student manager
                     for the season was Melvin Carlson.
