Mead did herself proud in Track and
Field, placing very respectably in
several track meets including the
Husker Twelve meet where we came
out fourth. Three of our boys quali-
fied at the district meet and went to
the state in their event. Many school
and personal records were broken by
the 1962 Mead Track Team. Memo-
ries of this are fond. Below the sun
shines on our record breaking mile
relayers.
