Mead High's annual Awards Night
was held May 21.,
Outstanding a wards of the evening
were presented to Gay Gustafson, Betty
Crocker A ward and Outstanding English
Writing; Wayne Petersen, Chapter Star
Farmer; Terry Radenslaben, Dekalb
Award; and Steve Meyer, SWCD Public
Speaking Medal.
This was the first time the a wards
have been presented without a banquet
preceding.
The first beau of the F.H.A. for 1964 was announced by Ruth
Svoboda, President of the F.H.A. as Kirby Zicafoose. Kirby
received a key chain with the emblem of the F.H.A. engraved
on top.
A WARDS NIGHT
The 1964 F.F.A. Sweetheart was
announced by Merlin Fick, Pres-
ident of the F.F.A. as Lenore
Larson. Her attendants were Jerri
Barta and Sharon Houfek.
