SENIOR CLASS PLAY
The Seniors of Mead High School started their
active and exciting year with the presentation of
the play, "The Doctor in Spite of Himself", on
November 13, 1965.
Herman, a woodcutter by some strange fate be-
comes a doctor and is to cure a speechless girl,
Lucy, who obtained a speech impediment shortly
after her mother insisted she marry a man she didn't
love.
Doctor Herman prescribed an 'elopement' to
the boy she really loved, Larry, which meant a
hanging for him; only to find out his prescription
brought sure happiness for everyone.
