Varsity action in foot- Sponsoring the Fresh-
ball, basketball, and men and the Math
track was coached by Club, along with
LeRoy Rockey. He five math classes and
also taught the school's jr. high and reserve
P.E. classes; jr. high coaching, gives an
science; and Drivers active part to Mead's
Ed. assistant coach.

Mead's superintendent obtained his BA from 1
Doane College and his MS from the Univer-
sity of Nebraska. During the 1965 summer,
Mr. Sims traveled to different schools in .
Iowa and Chicago to see the different school
systems in operation. Mr. Sims has been at
Mead for two years and was also Senior class
sponsor.
