RAIDERETTES
The Mead Raiderettes and their Coach, Mr. ECNC TOURNAMENT
Haag , were rewarded for their efforts with a MEAD - - - - - 2 PRAGUE - - - - - - - - 0
winning season and a first place trophy in
the ECNC tournament. Their only two loss- JFK TOURNAMENT
es were to Prague in the regular season and MEAD - - - - - 1 WAVERLY - - - - - - - 2
to Waverly, eventual winners in the John F.
Kennedy Invitational Tournament.
It was a determined team that went out on
the court at the ECNC tournament in Weston.
The girls were seeking revenge from their
main foe, Prague, who had beaten the
Raiderettes earlier in the season. The noise
in the gym was deafining as the Raiderettes
took command with an easy victory in two
straight sets, earning for themselves the
title of ECNC CHAMPS!
Mary Williams and Audrey Fick enjoy a
smile as they helped the Raiderettes achieve
a CHAMPIONSHIP WIN over Prague.
