The Mead Raiders track team al-
o enjoyed a successful year . The
Raiders were second in the Confer-
ence, while a miscue in reporting
could've been the difference as the
Raiders lost by one 1 1/2. The
Raiders also finished second in Dis-
trict Competition. The Raiders
had three qualify - Kerry Carden,
Keith Ziegenbein, and Dick Coady.
While at State all three failed to
place.
The boys take a breather before their
next event.

Rich Parson soars high and over the
pole. The pole vaulters enjoyed
a good year.

Keith Ziegnebein crosses the finish
line, while Gary Zicafoose has a
ways to go yet.
