Coach Hoag's Girls Finish Season With 23-1 Record!
While the Mead Raiders were compiling a winning season the Mead Raiderettes were quietly com-
piling a winning season of their own. The Raiderettes started the season off in a winning way when
they captured the Waverly Tournament. Coach R. E. Haag's Raiderettes kept things in the winning
way by chalking up victory after victory until they journeyed to Snyder where they picked up their only
loss. The loss only gave the Raiderettes more incentive as they pulled out victories in their remaining
games. The Raiderettes also captured their two remaining tournaments. The girls for the fifth straight
year brought home first place in the E. C. N.C. tournament and for the first time in six tries the girls
captured first place at the Peru State Invitational Tourney. The Raiderettes finished with a 22-1
record and hopes for next year with five returning lettermen. The girls will play a fall schedule next
year. CONGRATULATIONS RAIDERETTES!!!
