Raiders Snare Third In E.C.N.C. Tournament
Mead's Raiders were in and out of the hopper all year as the inexperienced Raiders worked together for an 11-
7 season. Although loosing the two opening games, the team fought back to win the following six. The Raiders
had many exciting games as six were decided within five points.
The highlight of the season came when Mead downed the Murdock Bulldogs 61-54 in the consolation game of
the E. C. N.C. tournament. However, a disappointing loss befell the Mead Raiders in the opening round of Dis-
trict play as Omaha Brownell Talbot ended the season for the Raiders by 64-62 double overtime decision.
