On May 11, 1974 the Mead Junior Class sponsored the
second annual school carnival. The two main attractions
of the carnival were the Rock-o-plane and the African Dip,
both of which were new. Stuffed animals were given away
as prizes at most of the other booths, but at the nickel
pitch different types of glasses were given. Both parents
and children went home with smiles on their faces and
stuffed animals in their arms.
