The mighty Raiders were defeated by the East Butler
Tigers by a score of 13 to 14. After the close game,
Mead's royalty was crowned on the football field. Mark
Hannan was crowned King and Margaret Murray was
crowned Queen. First attendants were Brett Duckworth
and Anne Konecky along with second attendants Ron
Raver and Lori Garritt.
Each class provided a skit during the pep rally and the
exciting atmosphere exemplified the spirit of the stu-
dent body. During the school day, the Senior pep club
members presented the entire football team with a
lucky penny.
After the activities at the football field, the student
body moved to the Mead Community Building where
dance music was provided by "Crosstown." Posters and
banners carried out the theme of "Colour My World."
