SUCCESSFUL 5-4 REBUILDING
The Mead Raider football team started the season off right by
beating Malcolm and Ft. Calhoun, on the road. A slow first guarter
and inability to generate our offense hurt Mead against Bennington
and East Butler. After a disappointing loss to Weeping Water ir
brought about more unity to rhe ream. Homecoming activities were
cancelled because of rhe death of a teammate, Tom Popish. Mead
