The Freshman class of '86-' 87 is our third larg-
est class. This class consists of seven girls and
fourteen boys, whom are actively involved in
the extracurriculars that are offered to the stu-
dents at Mead High School; which include volley-
Theresa Conn ball, football, basketball, track, FFA, FHA, and
many others. The Freshman class is not new to
the school but are new to the responsibilities
and choices that are given to them; which they
are handling very well. The Freshman have
headed into the new year with goals and high
expectations that they as a class and individ-

uals hope to accomplish during the year. A few
of the money making projects sponsored by the
Freshman were the half court shot and the sell-
ing of Mead Raider duffle bags. The Freshman
held their first class election which resolved in
the following: Jay Hanson, President; Jason
Moly, Vice President; Robert Aim, Secretary;
Brenda Fick Buddies at last.
Mike Moly, Treasurer; Jason Givens and Joel
Konecky, Student Council. This class with its
knowledge and abilities has already made a
lasting impression at Mead and will strive to
overcome the obstacles to come in the future.
