"This year's band was much
different than before, but I think
we did ok," graduating senior
Aaron Nygren said.
This is pretty much the gen-
eral sentiment of the band this
year. Many band members
graduated last year and many of
the positions had to be filled by
freshman. This. along with the
addition of a new band teacher,
made the year one of transfor-
mation.
Yet the band marched on.
With only 12 members they still
had a jazz, marching, concert
and pep band which perfom1ed
at conceits, games. and parades.
There were not many people, but
they worked hard to make sure
the band still sounded good.
Also, several band members
were honored this year. Aaron
Nygren, Adam Petersen, Mark
Rasmussen, and Stephanie
Marburger all earned a position
on the Class-D All-State Sym-
phonic Band.
