Kicking ofT and ending with a bang the 2015-2016 Speech season was one to remember. A total of 21 members
attended up to 10 meets throughout the season and had their chance to perform at the Knight at the Oscars. This
year's Captains were speech seniors Katie Bomemeler. Ashtyn Cooper and Emlly Zakaras. Throughout the year
the Elmwood-Murdock Speech team had a total of nve different nnallsts, three of which broke nnals multiple
times. The nnallsts were Seniors Katie Bomemeler (Poetry), Ashtyn Cooper (Serious Prose). and Emily Zakaras
(Poetry). Junior John Willey (Impromptu), and Sophomore Payton Frahm (Extemporaneous). Newcomer of the
Year was awarded to Rebekah Pratt and Morgan Jennings and the Helping Hand award went to Andy Meyer.
