September "63" found us electing Terry
Radenslaben as President, with Garwood Vavak, GARWOOD D. VAVAK •••
Ruth Svoboda, and Merlin Fick as other officers.
Bill Nygren and Ron Sanders represented the Senior
Class as Student Council members. Homecoming
was held October 12, with members of the Senior
Class as candidates for king and queen. Gay
Gustafson and Terry Radenslaben were chosen as
king and queen and Ruth Svoboda and Merlin Fick
were attendants.
Our Senior play, "State of Mind" came in
November. The year was filled with important
events like choosing our announcements and our
graduation gowns.
Deanne Carlson and Melvin Vance did not
rejoin the class this year. Mary Ann Kavan and
Don Heuerman joined the class as Seniors.
On May 1, the Seniors traveled to Colorado
for their senior trip. May had come all too soon,
and then, looking through the window, we could
see that it was not the end, but only the beginning,
for graduation was near.

Bill Nygren, the class valedictorian, and classmate
Merlin Fick march serenely up the aisle to termi-
nate their high school career.
