TASKS ARE VARIED
Five students participated in the
Spring District Journalism Contest at
Lincoln, The students participating
in the contest were: Barbara Core,
won second place for newspaper lay-
out; Sharon Houfek, won second for
newspaper writing; and Pat Iiams, re-
ceived third for advertizing. Wayne
Petersen represented Mead High
School for yearbook writing, and
Jerri Barta, editorial writing. Bar-
bara Core, Sharon Houfek, and Pat
Iiams, attended the State Journalism
Awards Banquet on May 2.
