The music department ex-
panded this year by presenting
vocal and instrumental concerts
given by the combined Mead and
Yutan students, directed by Glenn
Peterson and Walt Olson respec-
tively.
The fourth annual Community
Concert, directed by Morris Ander-
son, was presented in December.
Kathy Schneider was selected
from the Junior Class to attend the
Music Clinic held at Kearney
State Teachers College.
Jerri Barta and Lenore Larson
attended the Fine Arts Festival
held at the University of Nebr.
Mead received 9 superiors, 2
excellents, and one good, out of
the 12 entries, while playing host
to the Class C and D Music Con-
test, District Two.
