                                                 Success was  the word
                                              for  Mead's  volleyball
                                               team.  Besides compiling
                                              a  20-2 record,  the  girls
                                              captured two  firsts.  One
                                              was  the import ant J. F. K.
                                               In vita tiona! Cham pion-
                                              ship.  The other  first was
                                               not  a  new  one.  Once
                                              again the girls succeeded
                                               in winning  the Husker
                                               Five Conference with

                                              and  Prague.  Mead suf-
                                               fered  its  only two losses
                                               in the  Waverly  Tourna-
                                              ment where they  placed
                                               fourth.
