Boys'  Track




                                                                             The Mead boys track team  was
                                                                           a  large one this year.  They  had
                                                                           two boys qualify  for  the state
                                                                           track meet.  Jim  Shires and  K.
                                                                           Carden were the two  qualifiers
                                                                           and Jim  came home with a  3rd
                                                                           in  the 440 with a  time of 50:8.
                                                                           It was  just one  of the many records
                                                                           the Mead team broke this year.
