Snowball Dance
A NEW EVENT
The Snowball Dance was a new event held
this year at Mead and hopefully in the years
ahead.
The Dance was held on December 21, 1968.
A week before the scheduled dance was held
candidates were selected with a boy and a girl Paula receives her corsage.
from each high school class. These candidates
were voted on by the individual classes.
Those selected as candidates were as follows:
Freshmen - Marlene Linden and John Erickson;
Sophomores - Laura Heald and Ray Chvatal;
Juniors - Becky Pickworth and Gary Zicafoose;
Seniors - Paula Scoles and Bob Iiams.
Individual tin cans were set up for each can-
didate and the pupils in school then put money
in for their candidate.
Miss Merry Christmas was Paula Scoles and
Mr. New Year Gary Zicafoose.
The happy dance. Paula seems to be enjoying it.
