Although November 8, 1968 , was a cold ,
blistering night the spirit was enthusiastic and
bright as the Raiders met the Fort Calhoun Pio -
neers.
After the victorious score of 32 to 28 , the
crowd packed the gymnasium as the nineteen
candidates for the 1968 Royalty were announced.
Our new king! ! ! The attendants announced were: second attend -
ants - June Williams, Marlyn Washburn; first at-
tendants - Paula Scoles , Phil Johnson; and , the
new king and queen were presented as Joan Wil-
liams and Mickey Coady.
After the Royalty Dance , the students, fac-
ulty , and alumni filled the corridors and gym -
nasium as the Homecoming Dance , 1968 , be -
gan and ended.
