Raiders E. C. N. C. & State Football Champs!

The Mead Raiders have done it again! For the second year in a row they have captured the Con-
ference Championship. The 28 boys who made up the team practiced hard throughout the weekto gain
their well- deserved victories. In spite of cold and often times rainy weather the Raiders stayed tough.
Their impressive victories not only brought much happiness to the team and coaches , but also to Mead's
fans. Their great season also reaped them other awards. The Raiders were rated No. 1 by the Lincoln
Star and No. 3 by the Omaha World Herald. The Raiders , coached by J. Heller and D. Dangberg ,
finished the season undefeated with a 9- 0 record! !
