DIG- SET- SPIKE- Three funda-
mentals employed by the Raiderrttes that
led to a succe ful 13-4 season. Thr Raider-
ettes tarted the season with a disappointing
loss to Clas B power Omaha Merry. The
Raiderettes' attitude began to adjust to the
loss as they won the next 8 contests. After
mental los es to Wahoo High and Cedar
Bluffs, Mead swept the EC C, taking 1st
place honor by defeating Waterloo, Fort
Calhoun, and Bennington.
After winning an exciting gamr with
Mead Raiderettes receive ECNC 1st place trophy. David City High in the first round action of
Districts, they suffered a di appointing loss
to David City Aquinas in the Srmi-final
action. Even though the Raiderettes will
lose five starting seniors they are looking
forward to the 81 season as they have 7 var-
sity member returning.
