PROM HAS
STAR FILLED
BACKGROUND
On May 4, 1985 the Mead High
Jr.-Sr. Prom was held against a
background of stars. Not only was
it a clear, starry night outside but
there were also stars in the gym.
Silver stars were mounted on a
black background, an arch of blue
and white balloons stood in the
center, and there were "wishing
ponds" on each side of the door.
The theme was "We've Got
Tonight" and the music was
provided by Soundsational from
Council Bluffs. The meal was
catered by Lee's of Lincoln and
consisted of Swiss Steak, ham, au
gratin potatoes, corn salad, bread
and a brownie. Servers for prom
were: Bill Spagnotti, Tim Hannan,
Merle Hagemann, Fred Schliffke,
Scott Osterloh, Joie Mueller. Katie
Gehrman, Pam Ruzicka, Dawn
Shook, and Kim McKay.
