The girls track team was small
but successful. The team was
very young this year. But with
good effort and alot of hard work TRACK
from all the girls they made it a
fun season. There were alot of
disappointments and alot of 1986
victories. Sheri Huddle had a
bad experience in the lOOm
hurdles at Districts when she fell
on a hurdle which left her not
placing to reach the state track
meet. Next years team will be
looking forward to the chal-
lenges and will be stronger than
ever. They feel they will be a
tough team to beat. Mr. Ortgies
head Coach of the Mead Track
team was very pleased with the
over all good effort from the girls
this year.
