Under Coach John Poltack the Raiderettes basketball team had a overall
good season. But due to a series of injuries to some key players, the team
lost some early games in the season. But when the injuries had heeled
the Raiderettes finished the season with a winning streak. Until the
District Finals when they lost a close game to a tough Scribner team. It
was a disappointing loss for the Raiderettes having gone to state the
previous year. This year's team standouts were Staci Hass making All
State 1st team & all conference 1st team. Kris Hass made All State 2nd
team, 2nd team all conference. Lisa Nygren 1st team all Conference.
Others who were not nominated for any awards but contributed greatly
were Ronda Treptow who did alot of ball handling and outside shooting
& Tracy Strong who also helped with the outside shooting and fast break
game.
