The two main things that lead this team
through the tough games as well as through
the season was Senior leadership and team
unity. The leadership of the three Seniors
helped the team in tight situations and
pulled the team together when they needed
it most. Team unity was probably the most
important factor of their successful season.
These girls were more than just teammates
they were friends on and off the court, this
helped them win games. Hard work, team
spirit, going out and having fun, and the
support of the fans also helped the girls be-
come a winning team.
Even with the record of 16-7 their season
was more than just a successful winning sea-
son. ir was a season of accomplishments.
The Raiders placed 2nd in the Holiday Tour-
nament, won the ECNC Tournament for the
fourth consecutive year. won the Sub-Dis-
trict Tournament also for the fourth consecu-
tive year. were the C2-S District Tournament
runners-up, and placed 9th and lOth in the
state. Four of the seven losses were lost
to teams that were rated fourth or higher I GOT A SHOTI
