The Raider basketball team had a great year with a season ending record of 17 wins and 4 losses. The Raiders started off the
season with a bang by slaughtering Waterloo 83-37. After this game it seemed that the Raiders couldn't be stopped. They went
on to win their next two games then losing a very close game with Scribner-Snyder. Their next loss would be to Wahoo-Neumann,
rated #1 in Class C-1, and the Raiders had them down by 8 points, but the Raiders lost it in the final minutes of the game. They
would go on and win the rest of their games including, beating their big rival Yutan by a score of 77-59, but losing to them in
the conference championship game. The Raiders walked through their sub-Districts by murdering Brownell-Talbot 73-34 and going
on to the District game where Shelby beat the Raiders. Three of our Raiders won awards for basketball. Cortney Couch won
