LADY RAIDERS RANK 8TH
WITH A 21-2 RECORD!
The Lady Raiders started off with
a winning streak of 7 games. This
Included upsetting Lincoln Chris-
tian to capture lsi in the Elmwood-
Murdock Tournament. The lsi loss
of the season was to Yutan, but the
Lady Raiders came back even
tougher in the next three games.
which lead to the Mead Invite. The
Lady Raiders defeated Wahoo and
L. Christian to take lsi again! The
next three games were stepping
stones which proved beneficial in
the ECNC Tournament. Mead de-
feated Cedar Bluffs, and avenged
Yutan for the earlier loss. They con-
tinued to beat Elmwood Murdock,
in the final game, to win the Confer-
ence Championship. This momen-
tum took them through sub-districts
to beat East Butler and Waterloo.
The ultimate climax of the season
was the defeat of Osceola to qualify
for State. Our team played a tough
match, but were upset by Suther-
land at State. The Lady Raiders
had a very successful season, ac-
complishing many goals. They were
rated 8th overall, ending with a 21-
