The Mead volleyball team ended
their 1993 season with a record
of 16-9. Players that received
honors include: Shannon Hoover
- All-State 2nd team, All-Area
Wahoo, All-Area Fremont, & All-
Conference First Team; Jessica
Petersen - All-State Honorable
Mention, Academic All-State, &
All-Conference 2nd Team; Amber
Anderson - All-State Honorable
Mention, Academic All-State, &
All-Conference 2nd Team; Renee
Hollst - Academic All-State. High-
lights of the year include winning
the Fort calhoun tournament and
earning the right to play at the
district final tournament. The
Lady Raiders lost a 9 point lead in
the final game and were defeated
by the Lewiston Tigers. Next
year's team will be lead by four
returning seniors: Amber Ander-
son, Renee Hollst, Karen Hanks.&
Jessica Petersen.
