Off to a BLAZING start. the Raiders
easily beat Howells and then 0. Chris-
tian Academy to start out the 1993
season with a winning record. Up next
was 0. Brownell Talbot, the first big
challenge that the Raiders faced that
season. It was Parents Night and they
gave their parents a show that came
out on top as they won 28-7. Next up
was Homecoming with Waterloo. The
Raiders easily stomped the Panthers.
So a few minutes after halftime, the

ler Tigers. The Tigers took the lead early in the game but Mead kept
bouncing on back to keep the score pretty even. The Raiders played
their best game that night and in the end, it looked like a basketball
score. 52-62. The Raiders bounced back as they easily sent the Wild
Cats back to their den with their tail between their legs. There was still
a slim chance that Mead could be a play-off qualifier, it all depended
on the next game against a 7-1 team, Exeter-Fairmont. The Raiders
wasted no lime to finish this team off as they rolled to a 50-0 victory.
Mer this game it was a high point in the Raider season, but it was
also one of their low times. They clenched the ECNC Champs again
for the fourth time in the last five years. But they missed qualifying for
state by one place as they were ranked 17th in the state.
