In early July, Monte Else and Jamoe Hanks were able to
visit Washington D C. for the National Leadershop Confer
ence While visinng the many sotes. they learned how to
use teamwork and goal setting to omprove the chapter
The FFA members showcased theor talents in all the
competitions Forst place dostnct wmners were MonteE se
Bryce Anderson. Matt Rasmussen and Aaron Nelson Else
won the cooperative speech. Anderson took first place on
horse management. Rasmussen rece;ved first on his natur-
al resource speech. and Nelson won the junior publoc
speakong. The agronomy team. consostmg of Nick Thorson.
Chris Gustafson and Dan Bontrager also took a first place
ribbon.
Two FFA members that scored high at state were Matt
Rasmussen and Aaron Nelsen. Rasmussen receoved thord on
the state for his natural resource speech. while Nelson
took second place on the 1unoor public speakong. The profi-
ciency award wonner this year was Monte Else in turf grass
management
The returnong officers will continue to demonstrate their
leadershop for the upcomong year
