                                                   The Mead Hi~h School Drama. Clu1' s performance of "
                                                   Suessified Christmas Carol" by Peter Bloedel was most
                                                   definitely suessified! The actors and actresses put on
                                                   their spunkiest, their rhymeyest, their smhyest, very fun
                                                   filled, not slimiest, effort in ma.kin~ the play spectacular!
                                                   The Scroo~e, a. would-'be rock star, is a. 'bitter, rotten, old,
                                                   rich ~eezer who takes out his a.n~er on anyone who comes
                                                   near him. To boost his Christmas spirit, three ~hosts
                                                   came to haunt him. Their influence caused Scroo~e' s
                                                   heart to ~row three sizes bi~~er and he even ~ave his poo11
                                                   clerk a. hu~e raise. Lynn Hanson, a. junior who played one
                                                   of the solicitors, feels he improved ~rea.tly from the first
                                                   performance to districts and is proud of his personal
                                                   achievement. Con~ra.tula.tions to seniors Nichole
                                                   Hucke'by and Joel Spath, and junior Joe Bettendorf for
                                                   receivin~ Honorable Mentions for Outsta.ndin~ Actin~
                                                   at districts. Althou~h awards  were not ~iven at
                                                   Conference, the Drama. Clu1 placed 6th at Districts.
