THE RAIDERS WIN FIVE,
The Mead Raiders finished
fourth in the Big Division as their
football season ended.
Senior Terry Radenslaben,
Junior Pat Coyle, and Sophomore
Jim Wagner, received All-Confer-
ence honorable mention for their
outstanding playing ability through-
out the year. Terry was the only
senior on the entire squad this year.
The Raiders started their foot-
ball season September 6, 1963, with
Ceresco as their first opponent.
Mead was considered an under-
dog at the beginning of the season,
because of the loss of a lot of the
first team players, due to their
graduation the previous year.

out of the bottom rating when they
defeated Wahoo Catholic. Their
next game upped their rating to
third place with their victory over
Valparaiso. The homecoming
game with Nehawka proved to be a
decisive victory of 46-6.
Our game with Eagle-Alvo
took third place rating away from
the Raiders and moved them down
to fourth place, where they stayed
till the end of the season.
