FFA

In early October, Steve Meyer, Jerome
Moline and Randall Hanson accompan-
ied Mr. Miller to the National Dairy
Cattle Congress in Waterloo, Iowa. A
Bronze Team Emblem was presented
to the three Mead FF A members, the
only ones in the state of Nebraska to
receive this emblem. Norm Thorson District FF A
Chapter Star Farmer Convention
The Mead FF A won 3 out of 5 events
at the District FF A contest held at
Mead during National FFA week. Six-
teen schools participated at the con-
test and Mea-d's chapter took the
Talent Speaking (Millard Shires), Wild-
life Conservation (Norman Thorson),
and Parliamentary Procedure.
