Out of 15 boys out for track the Mead track
team sent two boys to represent Mead at the
State Track Meet. The two were, Calvin Parkins
and Craig Moline. At the end of the meet Mead
ended up with 1 V2 points with Craig placing 5th
in the pole vault. Calvin broke his old records in
the 3200 and 1600 m run with times of 10:05
and 4:38
