C-1 Champs Have 17-6 Season

The Mead Boys' Basketball
T earn had only one returning
starter from last year, but they
still had an impressive season.
The first highlight was 2nd place
in the Mead Holiday Tourna-
ment. Second, was receiving the
runner-up trophy in the ECNC
Conference Tournament and 1st
in the Conference. Finally,
becoming the District Cham-
pions, giving the Raiders a
chance to play Omaha
Cathedral in the C-1-C-2
Regional game at Elkhorn. Here
the great season ended with a
record of 17-6. Four players
were named to the ECNC Con-
ference teams: Arlin Johnson -
1st team, Craig Moline - 2nd
team, Jamey Nygren and Tom
