With one returning starter back
from the previous year, the Raiders had
a hard road ahead of them.
The inexperience seemed not to
show in December. Finishing the month
4-3, it was highlighted by a come-from-
behind victory over Brownell-Talbot, a
smothering of Louisville and a second
place finish in the Holiday Tournament.
January ended winless as inexperi-
ence cost some close games. Season end-
ing victories over Cedar Bluffs and Co-
nestoga raised the Raiders hopes in Dis-
tricts, only to fall to East Butler on a last
second shot. Even though the record may
not show what all players wanted, the ef-
fort seemed to be there.
