A disappointing 44-48loss in overtime
to heavily favored Leigh in Districts ended
the season for the Girls 1988-89 basketball
team. The girls started off the season by
winning their first two games. They then
lost the next two.
Probably the two most exciting games
were a heartbreaking 37-38 loss to Cedar
Bluffs in the ECNC Championship, and
the 44-48 overtime loss to Leigh in the Dis-
trict Championship. The girls ended a suc-
cessful season with a 14-9 record.
