The Mead Chapter of the Fu-
ture Homemakers of America had
25 nembers this year. They partici-
patedin several activities at the lo-
cal, district and State level.
Camp Calvin Crest, near Ce-
dar Bluffs, Ne., was the site for our
summer retreat. Our District
Leadership Conference was held
at Wahoo High School on Oct. 26.
Ourfeatured speaker was Kathy
Bjorkfrom the Career Institute of Mr. Phil Miller speaking at the FFA-FHAbanquet. Mrs. Connie Weiss speaking at the FFA-
FHA banquet.

The State Leadership Confer-
ence in April was attended by 10
members. 1988-89 Officers were:
Jodie Asper; Pres., Amy
Halbmaier; V.Pres., Judy John-
son; Sec/Trea., Jason Givens;
Power of one, Marcia Gustafson;
Historian. In the same order as
above the 1989-90 Officers are:
Marcia Gustafson, Jill Vogt, Angie
Lamprecht, Judy Johnson and Ju-
lie Jonas.
