Dance
the Night Away
This year, student council decided to change things up. Not
only were the dress up days different, but the dance was also moved
from Friday to Saturday. The student council members chose
Gameboard Character Day, Junk Drawer Day, Injury Day, Flash-
back Era Day, and Red and White Day as the spirit week dress up
days. "It's nice to dress out of the ordinary every once in awhile,"
said senior Dustin Barris.
On Friday, the faculty mem-
bers allowed students to have
half a day to play games to get
the energy high for Homecom-
ing. The first game was tug-of-
war; Ironically the 7'h graders
claimed the 1'' place title by beat-
ing the senior class. Chelsea
Bergman and Emily Bergman
used their cousin connection to
win the three-legged race. The
last game was dodgeball with the
junior class winning the tourna-
ment. Friday ended with a pep

rally and a devastating loss to Armburst slow dance to a love song. Most stu-
dents were found dancing during the slow songs.
Nebraska Christian.
The dance was held on Sat-
urday and the theme was Dance the Night Away. The homecoming
king was Brian Cooper and the queen was Trisha Larson.

more Robert Hartgrave after he
said he didn't want to dance.
