Track Team I:njoys Fantastic Season
The ead Raider track and field team had an excepbonal year. Many of
the parbc1paots achieved their J>ersonal bests and S1X members reached the
ulbmate goal of J>arbcJJ>abng in the state meet. All the Mead tracksters
competed well at Hie b1g show. The crowd of 24,000 Witnessed the Mead
Ra!ders take nome four medals n eight events. 'Its been an amazing season;
I loved being able to watch these kids grow, comJ>ete and make 1t to the
h1ghest level. They are all amazwg 1n my book; they have all had to over
come advers1ty at some bme or another, and they did 1t With fly1ng colors.'
