A disappointing 51 -65 loss to Lincoln Christian in Districts ended
   the season early for the girls  basketball team. The Lady Raiders
   started the season working hard with 4 returning letterman. The
   1987-1988 basketball team consisted of: Seniors - LEANNE GUS-
   TAFSON  &  DENISE  PUSH ,  Juniors  - JODIE  ASPER&  AMY
   HALBMAIER  Sophomores  - TERRI  LAMPRECHT  &  KIM  WIL-
   LIAMS, Freshman - LINDA CHARLES, MARY ELLISON, MARCIA
   GUSTAFSON,  JUDY  JOHNSON,  VALERIE  WILLIAMS,  JULIE
   JONAS, MELINDA THOMPSON.
   The Lady Raiders started the year by winning their season opener
   53-39 over Louisville. Then they fell  into a 4 game losing streak.
   The Lady Raiders taught back to beat Logan View 29-25 to break
   their losing streak. The rest of the season had a teeter-totter effect
   between wins and losses. The Lady Raiders ended their season
   with  an  8-13 record .                                                  GO! FIGHT!  WIN !
