The Lady Raiders began
their 2-a-day practices on Aug.
14 under the leadership of two
new coaches; coach Lisa Hass
and asst. coach Lois Fick.
The first opponent the Lady
Raiders met was Waterloo, de·
!eating them in two sets. The
Lady's placed 3rd in the Elm·
wood Tourney followed by a
win against Weeping Water.
The next 6 games were step·
ping stones into the Mead Tour·
ney, where they got 2nd, being
defeated by Lincoln Christian in
Weeeeeeeee . .. We are ready Coach!
3 sets. The next 2 games were
defeats. The Lady's placed 2nd
In ECNC being defeated by
Weeping Water. In Sub Dis·
tricts they were again defeated
by Weeping Water.
The Lady Raiders had an
overall great season, ending up
being rated 8th overall with an
18-5 record.
