CHOIR .

The 1995-96 Choir started the year with many new
faces, especially in the men's sections. Although they
started out slow, with practice they put on many good
shows.
For the Christmas concert they sang favorites such as
"0 Holy Night," an accapella "Alleluia," and a girls sex-
teet version of "Sleigh Bells."
The Pop's concert this year was named 'The Big Band
Ball" and was to have a 40's music theme. The choirs
sang classics from the Andrews Sisters, Cab Callaway,
Perry Como, etc. Highlights included a spy vs. spy skit to
music, a dance scene, featuring Scott Becl<nell and Bekki
jonas, and a solo by Dan Bontrager; wearing a tuxedo, he
sang "New York, New York."
At the district music contest the high school choir
received a "I+" from the judges for their performance.
The choir also received a plaque for their talents.
At the Spring Concert, the junior high choir showed
their stuff with their own choice of music, while the high
school choir sang contest music.
